Recommendations

1a. Finalize and provide records management training for authorized classifiers.
1b. Complete the current inventories of classified information in safes and secure storage areas.
1c. Develop declassification training to prepare and authorize declassifiers.
1d. Develop an updated declassification guide.
1e. Identify classified records requiring transfer to National Archives and Records Administration and complete the transfers.
1f. Complete the Office Instruction for performing mandatory declassification reviews.

Develop procedures for how to disposition NRC classified records that other agencies have equity in.

Develop guidance for derivative classifiers to apply records management principles to documents created and stored electronically.
